AREA SPORTS BRIEF: NUNNELEE TENNIS TOURNEY

The eighth annual Ed Nunnelee Memorial Tennis Tournament for adults and youths will be held June 5-7 at Sikeston High School. Deadline for entry is June 3.

Cost to enter is $12 per singles event and $16 per team for doubles. T-shirts will be given to each player and tennis balls will be provided. Trophies will be awarded for first and second places in all of several divisions.

Entry forms available at Howard's Sporting Goods and Universal Physique in Cape Girardeau. Tournament proceeds go toward the Ed Nunnelee Scholarship Fund which annually awards a college scholarship to a graduating senior boy and girl at Sikeston High School.
