In the tourney, Brockmeyer had 29 kills in 75 attemps, 37 digs and 25 service points.
Week report: Brockmeyer, a four-year starter, two-time All-State selection and a member of Bell City's 1996 Class 1A state champion team, had a career-high 20 kills in a loss to Zalma on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Brockmeyer had seven blocks in a loss to Bernie.
Coaches' comments: "Courtney's just an all-around player and floor leader," Bell City coach Carl Ritter said. "She's probably as consistent a hitter as I've coached in five years. Really, this year she's had to hit a little more than we wanted her to hit (due to the graduation of four starters). She had 45 attempts in one game the other night."
