MURRAY, Ky. -- Notre Dame captured the Murray (Ky.) Tournament Saturday with a 5-0 victory over Elizabethtown (Ky.) in the championship game.

Adam Obermiller and Cory Elfrink both scored a pair of goals while Chris Dirnberger added a tally. Mark Buehrle assisted on two of the goals which Zach Miller and Tommy Wencewicz had one apiece.

Notre Dame led 3-0 at halftime.

Notre Dame, now 8-1 on the season, defeated Henderson Co. 6-1 to reach the final. Tommy Wencewicz had two goals while Timmy Wencewicz, Miller, Oliver Sanders and Dirnberger each had one.

"We're really pleased. The team played so well today," said Notre Dame coach Brad Wittenborn. "It's probably best we've played."

Cape Central 1, Fulton 1

ST. LOUIS -- Nathan Gibbar netted Cape Central's lone goal on a penalty kick as the Tigers dueled Fulton to a draw.

After a scoreless first half, Gibbar scored 11 minutes into the second half. Fulton tied the game with about three minutes left.

Cape Central is now 4-6-1.

Central's JV won 2-0 on goals by Matt Kennard and Mick Metzger.
