This season: Meyer, a 5-foot-6, 145-pound tailback, has juked and sprinted his way to 706 yards on 83 carries and several touchdown runs of 40-plus yards this season. He also has been one of the most dangerous punt and kick returners in the area, with touchdowns in each return category. St. Vincent is 6-0 and ranked fourth in the state in Class 1A.

Week report: On the heels of a 126-yard, four-touchdown performance in a 38-0 win over Crystal City two weeks ago, Meyer rushed for 193 yards and scored three touchdowns last Friday, including one on an 81-yard kickoff return in a 47-28 win over St. Pius.

Coach's comments: "He's got great speed and unbelievable agility. It's amazing what he has done for his size. He can juke one guy and bounce off another and keep going. He'll be going full-speed and stop in an instant."
