Central won the JV game 2-1 as Paul Miller and Matt Kennard netted goals for the Tigers.

After a scoreless first half, Jackson (17-4-2) netted the first two goals of the second half to gain control. Windeknecht opened the scoring with his 42nd goal of the season off a pass from Joey Weber. Raju Dirnberger then netted an insurance goal off a feed from Spencer Knowlan. The Indians needed that insurance as Francis Howell scored with six minutes left in the game.

"We played well," said Jackson coach Bonnie Knowlan. "Their team was probably the fastest team we've played. My guys outworked them. It was a pretty evenly matched game."
