"We've never beaten the St. Louis Ramblers and we've never won the Ramblers 10's Tournament, so this is a milestone," said Scorpions coach Tim Joplin.

The Scorpions' home opener will be Aug. 30 at 1 p.m. at Arena Park against the St. Louis Hornets and Paducah (Ky.) Flood.

Anyone interested in joining the team is invited to attend practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7 p.m. at Arena Park, or call Joplin at 334-5626.
