BENTON -- Terry Johnson of Benton became the all-time leader in victories at Missouri International Racepark, picking up his 10th win of the season and 31st of his career during action Saturday night.

Also Saturday, Keith Brugger, Billy James, Tony Palmer and Shawn King all took feature wins in their divisions.

Johnson took the lead on the first lap of the Modified feature, with Johnny Wyatt and Kent Bailey trailing.

On the fifth lap, Johnson turned his car sideways in turns three and four as he spun nearly completely around. Johnson did not lose the lead but the spin helped Wyatt and Steve Zelch Jr. close in on the leader.

Randy Stahley made his way through the field to move into second on the 18th lap. Stahley tried to make his way around Johnson and looked to have the top spot, but the caution flag flew as Wyatt stopped his car on the front stretch.

On the restart, Johnson moved into a commanding lead and led the final two laps to pick up the record win.

Stahley wound up second, with Zelch Jr. third, Kent Bailey fourth and Scott Gibbs fifth.

Brugger, of Jackson, scored his fourth win in a row in the Pure Street division. Brugger finished ahead of Joey Mack, while Eric Harris, Joe Floreck and Jeff Drew rounded out the top five.

James, of Sikeston, took the lead from Greg Gross on the 10th lap and went on to lead the final five laps of the Super Street feature. It was James' 10th win of the year and third in a row.

Gross wound up second, with Greg King third, Kevin Sawyer fourth and Larry Hull fifth.

Cape Girardeau's Shawn King trailed Scott Simion for the first 20 laps of the Winged Sprint car feature before moving into the lead.

King made the final pass as Simion was caught in lapped traffic. King went on to lead the final five laps, picking up his fifth win of the year. Kenny Carlton was third, Bob Thoman fourth and Paul Hart fifth.

Tony Palmer made the trip from Ste. Genevieve to pick up his first win at MIR in the IMCA Modifieds. Chris Hall was second, with Robert Powers third, Danny Parker fourth and Jeff Greene fifth.
