COLUMBIA -- The University of Missouri stormed out to a 25-point halftime lead and breezed to a 76-53 victory over Southeast Missouri State University's women Tuesday night at the Hearnes Center.

Missouri took a 39-14 lead into intermission and were never threatened by the Otahkians, who fell to 0-2.

Sarah Frazier led Southeast with 14 points while Annie Struve added 12 points. No other Otahkians scored more than six points.

Julie Helm scored a game-high 23 points for Missouri as all 14 Lady Tigers found the scoring column. Ekpe Akpaffiong was next in line with 10 points.

Missouri held a slight rebounding edge 35-34, but held wide advantages in turnovers and assists. Southeast committed 37 turnovers to Missouri's 21. Missouri players dished out 24 assists to Southeast's nine.

Southeast returns to action Tuesday when Western Illinois visits.
