As expected, Southeast Missouri State University's women's gymnastics team learned Monday that it has qualified for the NCAA Central Regional meet.

The seven-team regional will be held April 5 in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Southeast qualified fourth out of seven squads, behind Michigan, Alabama and LSU. Iowa State, Minnesota and Michigan State round out the bottom three.

This marks the Otahkians' sixth time to qualify for the Division I regional meet since 1990.

The top two teams from the Central Regional will qualify for the Division I National Championships. Also qualifying will be seven at-large regional squads from around the nation.
