The Billikens claimed a 9-3 home-field baseball victory Wednesday night to split the season series with the Indians.

St. Louis improved to 14-12 while the Indians fell to 11-19.

LaMonte Collier and Steve Goodman each had two of the Indians' eight hits.

Southeast used five pitchers, with starter Justin Buck taking the loss.

St. Louis had nine hits, including a home run by Brett Bredensteiner. Adam Gabris drove in three runs.

Jason Stanfield pitched eight innings for the win.

Southeast resumes Ohio Valley Conference play Saturday when Austin Peay visits Capaha Park for a 4 p.m. doubleheader.
