OUTDOOR BRIEFS: DUCK AND GOOSE FESTIVAL

The 1996 Reelfoot Lake Grand American Duck and Goose Calling Championships and Festival will be held Oct. 11-13 on the shores of Reelfoot Lake in Samburg, Tenn.
The festival will include exhibits, duck and goose banding demonstrations, hunting retriever shows, trade dealing and duck and goose calling.

All exhibits will be open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. All goose calling contests will be Saturday and duck calling contest on Sunday. Contests will be able to register at 8:30 on Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
