The Community Caring Council will hold its annual meeting today at the Holiday Inn in Cape Girardeau.

A short business meeting will be held to elect officers and members of the board of directors.

The event is devoted to the recognition of work done in the community by Caring Council members. Hundreds of volunteer hours are given each year by members of the community who serve on committees, task forces and boards in an effort to bring about better results for families and children.
