The Missouri Department of Health and the American Diabetes Association will conduct a diabetes workshop Thursday in Sikeston at the Best Western Hotel. This is the fifth in a series of workshops to be held around the state to update health care professionals and citizens about diabetes care and coverage in Missouri.

The workshop will update health care providers and health professionals on recent advances in the care and management of patients with diabetes and review a variety of approaches for educating patients with diabetes.

The workshop will begin with registration at noon and will end at 4:30 p.m.

Lunch and refreshments are included in the $30 registration fee.
