BUSINESS MEMO: 'NEW BEGINNINGS' PARTY

The Cape Girardeau Downtown Merchants Association will hold its "New Beginnings" party, Tuesday at the Port Cape Girardeau Restaurant, starting at 5:30 p.m.

Association officers and board members will be on hand for the session.

Officers include David Hutson of Hutson's Furniture, president, and Jim Weatherholt of In the Wine Cellar, vice president. Board members include Jayne Ervin, Kent Zickfield, Scott Shivelbine, Chris Hutson, John Boardman, Dennis "Doc Cain," Dan Elkins, David Knight, Roger Lang, Don Greenwood and Judith Ann Lange, immediate past president.

All association members, their employees and other guests, are urged to attend the meeting.
