"Workforce Issues" will be the topic of discussion during a working breakfast, to be held Wednesday at 7 a.m. at the Drury Lodge.

The meeting is the first of a series of special breakfast meetings planned by the Cape Girardeau Work Opportunities Coordination Committee.

The meeting will offer area employers an opportunity to review the labor situation, discuss ways of viewing the available labor pool and learn more about the financial incentives for hiring from certain groups, said John Mehner, president of the Cape Girardeau Chamber and chairman of the Work Opportunities Committee.

The breakfast is sponsored by the Chamber, Private Industry Council and the Community Caring Council.
