NEW BUSINESS: MAC'S SMOKEHOUSE OPENS

Mac's Smokehouse Airport Restaurant & Catering has opened at the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport.

The new restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch -- 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. -- Monday through Friday, and for dinner -- 4 to 9 p.m. -- Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

David and LaRue McAllister are in their sixth year of the food industry, and feature banquet and catering services. Banquet facilities are at the airport restaurant, and at Huber Hall, along U.S. 61 between Interstate 55 and Jackson.

"We offer full menus at the restaurant, including daily specials and ribs every day," said McAllister.
