NEW BUSINESS: NEW RENTAL SERVICE

Rental Service Corp. (USC), a national industrial and contractor rental service, will locate in Six Thirty Commercial and Industrial Park.

USC, with more than 240 sites in the nation, has closed on a three-acre tract, on Southern Expressway in Cape Girardeau, between Ryder Truck Rental and Cape Central Publishing Co., and will start construction of a facility soon.

Tom Kelsey, broker with Lorimont Place Ltd., who handled the land transaction, said activity in the 150-acre development, between South Kingshighway and South Sprigg Street, has been brisk.

The park is home to 17 businesses, including a multifamily project for Sundance Apartments, by Cohen-Essry of Kansas City, and Dana Corp., which was the first company in the development.

Recent additions include Cotner Electric, Elfrink Transportation and the apartment facility, said Kelsey.
