BUSINESS MEMO: DEBT MANAGEMENT COURSE

A debt management course in personal finance will be offered by the Small Business Development Center along with the "Debt-free & Prosperous Living" program.

The course, "Learn to Manage Your Debt" will be held from 6 to 9 Tuesday night at the Dunn Center in Carbondale, Ill.

The course will help participants use the same money they are already earning to eliminate all their debts in the shortest time possible. Participants will learn how to eliminate credit card debt, pay off their mortgage and avoid the monthly payment trap. Participants should bring a calculator and a list of their debts.

The cost for the course is $39 for individuals and $59 for couples. To register or for additional information, contact SBDC at (618) 536-2424. Space is limited, so those interested should reserve a space as soon as possible.
