LOCAL MAN NAMED BOARD CHAIRMAN FOR TECHNOLOGY FIRM

Jerry L. Stone of Cape Girardeau has been named chairman of the board of directors of Claremont Technology Group Inc., headquartered in Beaverton, Ore.

Stone has been with the company since it was founded in 1989 and had been serving as vice chairman of the board since the start of the company. He continues to be a significant shareholder.

Claremont Technology Group, a leading systems integration firm, has 18 offices located throughout the United States, Canada and Australia.

Claremont provides both custom and pre-packaged business solutions to its clients in select vertical markets, including benefit services, communications, financial services, manufacturing and utilities.

Business Week named Claremont Technology Group No. 44 in its list of 100 Hot Growth Companies for 1997.
