GATEWOOD WOMAN KILLED, HUSBAND HURT IN ACCIDENT
DONIPHAN -- A Gatewood woman was fatally injured after a one-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon. Georgia Weston, 71, suffered fatal injuries in the accident, which occurred on Highway P, 11 miles southwest of Doniphan. Her husband, Charles Weston, 72, suffered minor injuries. Her husband, Charles Weston, 72, suffered minor injuries. Both were transported to Ripley County Memorial Hospital in Doniphan.
The accident occurred when the northbound vehicle, driven by Charles Weston, ran off the roadway into a ditch, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
