ST. JOHN'S TO CELEBRATE 130TH ANNIVERSARY
St. John's Lutheran Church of Pocahontas will be celebrating their 130th anniversary on Sept. 13 in conjunction with their annual Mission Festival. The schedule for the day includes Sunday School at 8:45 a.m., and Worship Services at 10 a.m. with guest speaker Kudud Natru from Papua, New Guinea. The Sweet Adelines will provide special music for the celebration and a potluck meal will follow at the parish hall.
