The Christian Women's Club will begin its fall Friendship Bible Coffees. People interested should call the study leaders for specific times and sites.
The Bible studies are informal discussions on various topics and open to all denominations. The groups meet in homes at different times throughout the week.
New topics are:
-- A "young moms" group led by Eloise Terry or Virginia Paul. A nursery is provided. Call Terry at 334-7019 or Paul at 651-1871.
-- Two groups that meet at noon; one in Cape Girardeau another in Jackson. They will be led by Pat Renner and Jean Dickey. Call Renner at 334-1673 or Dickey 243-2742.
-- Three evening groups will be held. In Jackson, call Jaci Gohn at 243-7516; in Cape Girardeau call Mary Sue Flentge at 335-3183 or Margaret Johnson at 335-7376.
-- A group for home-schooling mothers and teen-agers will be led by Sarah Bohnert. Call (573) 824-5546 for details.
-- A couples group will be led by Stanley and LaDonia Beggs. Call them at 243-2740 for information.
-- A daytime group for women will be led by Pat Reddick, 243-1552 or Jean Petzoldt, 243-2935.
-- Two Sunday studies will be held. Pat Renner will lead one in Cape and June Borgfield will lead a study in Jackson, 243-5504.
-- Four studies will be held in nursing center. Rebecca Volkerding will lead studies at The Lutheran Home. She can be contacted at 243-1711. Margaret Johnson will lead a group at Heartland Nursing Home and Jackson Manor. Carolyn Carron will lead studies at Heritage Gardens. She can be contacted at 243-3273.
