CHEF'S AUCTION RAISES $16,000 FOR BIRTH DEFECTS
The second annual March of Dimes Chef's Auction held recently in Cape Girardeau raised $16,000 for the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation. More than 250 people attended the event at the Osage Community Centre. Dennis Marchi and Charles Hutson auctioned unique dining experiences ranging from a dinner for six with a Titanic theme to a Super Bowl party for 30. The Mid-Week Break Mollie's Style for 20 people brought $1,200, the highest bid at the live auction...The second annual March of Dimes Chef's Auction held recently in Cape Girardeau raised $16,000 for the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation.

James and Pat Allen of Celebrations restaurant served as honorary co-chairmen. Jerra Hutson was chairman.
