The Marble Hill Police Department has announced that trick-or-treating shcall cease at 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 31 and all door-to-door trick-or-treaters should be off of the streets at that time. Violators can be punished with a fine ranging from $5 to $500.
The Jackson Police Department has not instituted a set time for trick-or-treating, but has stated that there will be extra patrolmen on duty to help deter vandalism and criminal activity while the trick-or-treaters are out.
