The Marching Tigers of Cape Central High School ended their season of competition with a performance at the Greater St. Louis Marching Band Festival. The annual festival was held at the TWA Dome, and over 15,000 people attended. There were 48 bands from Missouri, Illinois and Tennessee competing...

The Marching Tigers of Cape Central High School ended their season of competition with a performance at the Greater St. Louis Marching Band Festival.

The annual festival was held at the TWA Dome, and over 15,000 people attended. There were 48 bands from Missouri, Illinois and Tennessee competing.

The Marching Tigers competed in the Red Division with 11 other bands from Missouri, Illinois, and Tennessee. They received the second-place trophy with a point score of 84.6. In addition to that trophy they also received the trophy for Outstanding Musical Performance. The band's point score placed them eighth overall.

The 110 band members will march in the SEMO Homecoming Parade Saturday. Their final performance will be at the Cape Central football game Nov. 6.

The band wraps up the year with a banquet for members and their families on Nov. 12.
