NEW BUSINESS: NEW MORTGAGE SERVICE

JACKSON -- Mid-America Mortgage Services has opened at 1404 Old Cape Road, Suite 101, at Jackson.

Mid-America Mortgage was established in 1984 to provide mortgage products and services. The Jackson office is the ninth for the company, which has offices in Missouri, Illinois and Kansas.

Tim Walker, who started with Mid-America in 1993, is vice president and administrative office manager of the Jackson operation. He comes to this area from Columbia where he was a closing officer. Walker is a graduate of University of Missouri-Columbia.

Chris McReynolds of Jackson, who has 19 years real estate and loan experience, is mortgage lender. She was previously employed with Jackson Exchange, Boatmen's and NationsBank.

The Mid-America office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
