With the Beanie Baby craze in full swing, McDonald's Corp. will roll out its second wave of Teenie Beanie Babies, provided by the same company that produces the Ty Beanie Babies.

About a year ago, McDonald's kicked off its Teenie Beanies and saw a supply of 100 million toys disappear in two weeks.

McDonald's didn't say how many Teenie Beanies had been ordered for this year's promotion, which is expected to start in April or May.

This year, the fast-food company will offer 12 Teenies, up from 10 a year ago. And this year, the toys won't be restricted to Happy Meal purchases.

Customers will be able to purchase the Teenie Beanies with any food purchase. The Teenies, like the Beanies, will be identifiable with the red Ty heart logo.
