New officers for the Cairo Chamber include Jay Manus, president of Cairo First National Bank, president; David Hells, Barkett Funeral Home, first vice president; Mike Hileman, manager of Cole Lumber, second vice president; and Bill Harrell, Harrell Electric, treasurer. Martha Kline is executive secretary at the chamber.

Jeff Farris, Alexander County state's attorney, will be master of ceremonies at the banquet.

The banquet will start at 6:30 p.m. at the Cairo Elks Club on Eighth Street.
