The Bootheel Regional Planning and Economic Development Commission held its September meeting last week.
The Commisison, which previously met monthly, will meet bi-monthly. The six meetings throughout the year will rotate as to sites, to include meetings in each of the six counties.
Meetings will continue to be held on the third Thursday of the month. The next meeting will be held Nov. 19.
The executive committee will continue to meet monthly. Committee members, recently named, include: for Mississippi County, John McMinn of Charleston; New Madrid County, Clennon Farr, mayor, Howardville; Pemiscot County, Mike Avis, Pemiscot County commissioner; Scott County, Steve Borgsmiller, city administrator, Sikeston; and Stoddard County, James Harnes, mayor of Advance; Dunklin County, to be named.
