The pollution control project has been awarded as a joint venture to Black & Veatch, headquartered in Kansas City, and J.S. Alberici Construction, headquartered at St. Louis.

AECI of Springfield, Mo., provides wholesale power to six regional and 51 local electric cooperatives in Missouri, Oklahoma and Iowa.
