`GOING PUBLIC' WILL FOCUS ON DANCE

Dance will be the topic Sunday on KRCU 90.9 FM's "Going Public" program.

Guests will be Marc Strauss, assistant professor of dance at Southeast, and Jo Ann Ruess of the Academy of Dance Arts. They will discuss the dance program at Southeast Missouri State University, the upcoming production of the "Nutcracker" ballet, and the status of the arts in Southeast Missouri.

"Going Public" provides interviews and discussion of issues that affect the KRCU broadcast region.

The hosts of the program are Dr. Peter Bergerson, chairman of the Department of Political Science; Dr. Tom Harte, chairman of the Department of Speech Communication and Theater; and Dr. J. Christopher Schnell, professor of history.

The locally-produced half-hour program airs at 3 p.m.
