FRUITLAND -- A 20-year-old Perryville man was injured in a traffic accident at 11:10 a.m. Friday on Highway 61 north of Fruitland.

Jason Reisenbichler was injured when the southbound motorcycle he was riding, struck a pickup truck, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

The pickup truck, driven by Marvin Schoen, 65, of Oak Ridge pulled out from a private drive, the patrol said.

Reisenbichler was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, where he was reported in serious but stable condition Friday night.

Schoen wasn't injured, the patrol said.
