Country Home Health of Missouri, L.L.C. has opened an office at 2126 E. Jackson Blvd. in Jackson.

Susan Shepherd, vice president of operations, will oversee the daily operations at the Jackson office, which will provide home health care in five counties -- Cape Girardeau, Bollinger, Perry, Scott and Stoddard.

The new agency is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and will offer 24-hour on-call service.

"We have two registered nurses and a home-health aide," said Shepherd. "We strive to provide patients with any needed service or product to help care for them in the home.

Shepherd, a west Tennessee native and graduate of the University of Memphis, will oversee the Medicare Certified Patient Care Division, Private Pay Division and the patient relations activities. Shepherd, a registered nurse, has more than 17 years nursing experience, 14 of them in home health care.

Brenda Hopper, a registered nurse, is administrator/supervisor of patient care at the facility.

Services offered by the new agency include skilled nurse visitation and personal care provided by experienced home care aides.

Country Home Health Inc. of Tennessee is the sister agency of the Country Home Health of Missouri. The agency has a dozen offices in 17 counties of west Tennessee.
