Construction at Warren Place, a 132-acre residential subdivision with building lots ranging from a half-acre to 1.3 acres, will get under way this spring at Jackson.

Lorimont Place Ltd., a Cape Girardeau realtor and developer, will oversee and market the subdivision.

Tom Kelsey, broker for Lorimont Place, said 169 building lots are available, 24 of them with lakeside access.

A 9-acre lake will be developed.

Lots are available to individuals and area builders.

The property, formerly the Barks Farm, was purchased by Warren Place LLC.

The property includes rolling hills, pasture and woods.

Plans are to keep the natural rolling contours with streets and lot design positioned accordingly, said Kelsey.

Lorimont Place is also involved in Lorimont Place Professional Center, Six Thirty Industrial & Corporate Park and several other development projects.
