All schools in the Shawnee schools will begin Friday, Aug. 23 with registration conducted in each attendance center on a short morning schedule.

Dismissal at Shawnee North and Shawnee South will be approximately 9:45 a.m. Shawnee Junior and Senior High School will dismiss at 10 a.m.

The first full day of school will be Monday, Aug. 26. All attendance centers in Shawnee Schools will dismiss one hour early every day from Aug. 26 through Aug. 30.

All students entering kindergarten, first, fifth, and ninth grades must have a completed physical and dental examination, as well as up-to-date immunization records by the first day of school.

Lunch prices for students for a full meal will be $1. Reduced-price lunch is 40 cents. Adults are $1.75. Breakfast prices for students are 60 cents, reduced 30 cents, and adults $1.

Bus schedules will remain the same as last year, with adjustments made as needed.
