On the 1996-2001 Capital Improvements Program

On a proposal to vacate city's interest in a portion of Country Club Drive, Capaha Trail and an unnamed street in the Cape Rock Park area

Consent Ordinances (Second and third readings)

Rezone 726 Independence St. from C-1, local commercial, to C-3, central business district.

Grant a special use permit for a mail order sporting goods business at 1515 Kurre Lane.

Designate the Glenn House, 325 South Spanish St., St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 131 S. Main; Thilenius House, 100 Longview Place; James Reynolds House, 623 North Main St.; George Boardman Clark House, 6 South Fountain St., and Klosterman Block/Alliance Building, 7-15 South Spanish Street, as historic landmarks.

Annex old Hanover Lutheran Church and school.

Ban on-street parking at certain spots on Louisiana Avenue.

Establish two-hour parking on some sections of Louisiana.

Amend special use regulations.

Appropriate funds for Transportation Sales Tax Fund.

New Ordinances

Approve placement of stop signs on North Church Street, Magnolia Avenue, Paul Revere Drive and Sherwood Drive.

Approve placement of yield signs on Paul Revere Drive, Cannon Lane, Minute Men Way and Patriot Drive.

Accept general warranty deed for the closure of the city landfill.

Accept permanent easements for a sanitary sewer extension to serve Hanover Estates Subdivision.

Approve plans for sewer construction.

Amend city code on handicapped parking.

Enter into agreement with Boyd Missouri, Inc., and Boyd Gaming Corporation.

Resolutions

Approve an agreement with Gregory Construction Inc. for modifications at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Approve an agreement with ASA Asphalt Inc. for the Jaycee Municipal Golf Course parking lot improvements.

Execute a lease with Darrell L. Long for the Convention and Visitors Bureau office.
