Three area students were recently awarded a Regents' Scholarship to attend Southeast Missouri State University for 1996-97.

The scholarship is given to high school seniors who earn a score of 27 on the Enhanced ACT or graduate in the top 10 percent of their class.

Jane Mosebach of Cape Girardeau, Laramie A. Klipfel of Chaffee and Jonathan J. Lintner of Perryville received the scholarship.

Mosebach is the daughter of Tim and Mary Pensel of Cape Girardeau and Charles and Dorothy Mosebach of Benton. She will graduate in May from Cape Girardeau Central High School.

Klipfel is the daughter of William and Peggy Klipfel of Chaffee. She will be a 1996 graduate of Oran High School.

Lintner is the son of Marsha Lintner of Perryville and Gerald and Sue Lintner of Jackson. He will be a 1996 graduate of St. Vincent High School in Perryville.
