BENTON -- All officeholders filed for re-election in Scott County Tuesday except Surveyor Norman Lambert.
The incumbent, Wayne Pettit, and six others filed for the 2nd District commissioner's seat. They were: Robert Niederkorn, Charles Klueppel, Ben Evans, Joe Lee Michael, Bud Dock and David Coop Dirnberger.

Other officeholders who filed were 1st District Commissioner Walter Bizzell, Assessor Teresa Houchin, Sheriff Bill Ferrell, Coroner Scott Amick and Public Administrator Sonny Alcorn.
Nobody filed for the county surveyor's seat. All the races are for four-year terms.
