Two area residents were injured in separate one-vehicle accidents Sunday in Southeast Missouri.

Bryan Kempfer, 17, of Marble Hill was moderately injured when his truck ran off the road, hit a culvert and overturned in Bollinger County.

The accident occurred at 11:15 a.m. on Route 51 about one mile north of Marble Hill. Kempfer was not wearing a seat belt, a spokesman for the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

A Jackson man was injured in Cape Girardeau County when his motorcycle ran off the road and overturned.

Robert Wagner, 41, of Jackson was moderately injured in the accident which occurred about one and a half miles west of Dutchtown on Route A.

Both men were treated at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
