Although Sen. Bob Dole is certain to be the party's nominee, conservative columnist Pat Buchanan still has his supporters.

"Down here it is going to be close and both sides are counting up votes right now," said Donna Lichtenegger, 8th District Republican Party chairman.

About 120 people selected in the first round of Missouri caucuses on March 9 are expected to attend the caucus, slated for 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn.
