FAMILY PLANNING WORKSHOP STARTS

The Couple to Couple League is holding a natural family planning workshop this weekend.

The two-day event will be held today from 7 to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The workshop will by held at the Catholic Newman Center located at 512 N. Pacific St. in Cape Girardeau.

The workshop focuses on learning how fertility works and how to use that knowledge to avoid pregnancy or plan a pregnancy.

The coordinator of the event is Margaret Schatz, a certified teacher from Springfield. Schatz has over 20 years experience and has taught thousands of people about Natural Family Planning.

Individual counseling will be available at the workshop.
