Delta Queen Steamboat Co. Inc. riverboats will make 17 stops at Cape Girardeau this summer.

The Delta Queen will make six stops, the Mississippi Queen will dock seven times and the American Queen will stop here five times.

Making the first stop of the year will be the American Queen, which will arrive on the Mississippi River in downtown Cape Girardeau at 8 a.m. Saturday, for a five-hour stop.

The Mississippi Queen will make its first docking of the year here at 8 a.m. April 30, and the Delta Queen will be here at 8 a.m. May 13.

The Delta Queen and Mississippi Queen will dock here July 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the annual New Orleans to St. Louis riverboat race.

The remaining scheduled visits for the boats:

-- Delta Queen: June 6, noon to 4 p.m.; June 9, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.; July 9, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and Sept. 8, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

-- Mississippi Queen: July 10, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.; July 13, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.; July 27, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; July 30, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and Aug. 16, 8 a.m. to noon.

-- American Queen: June 15, 9 a.m. to noon; July 6, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Aug. 13, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and Aug. 28, 8 a.m. to noon.
