The Cape Girardeau campaign netted more than 13,000 pounds of food in its second annual drive. The food was distributed to the Salvation Army and FISH. This was up more than 1,000 pounds over the 1990 collection of 11,800 pounds.

The Jackson Post Office, in its first year for collecting food, reported a total of 5,300 pounds, which will go to Jackson-area food banks.

Scott City, in its first year, did not have a weight total but filled a pick-up truck to the top of the camper shell. The food will be distributed in the Scott City area.
