REGIONAL EVENTS: MUNICIPAL BAND TO CELEBRATE FREEDOM
The Cape Girardeau Municipal Band will present its second concert of the season at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Capaha Park Band Shell. Special guest entertainment will be provided by Freedom Celebration. Ray Vogel will be the celebrity guest conductor. Planned selections include "Strike Up The Band" by George Gershwin, "Chorale and Shaker Dance" by John Zdechlik, "Second American Folk Rhapsody" by Clare Grundman and "Oklahoma" by Richard Rodgers...
