The Cape Girardeau Municipal Band will present its weekly concert Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Capaha Band Shell.

The theme will be "South of the Border," with most of the music in Spanish style.

There will be special guest entertainment by the Hand Bell Group of Centenary Methodist Church.

Selections, conducted by Ronald Nall, include "Amparito Roca March" by Jaime Texidor; "Matador" by John Cacavas; "La Virgen de la Macarena" by Charles Koff, featuring Dr. Marc Fulgham on trumpet solo; "Fandango" by Frank Perkins; "The Girl from Ipanema" arranged by James Ployhar; "Gallito March" by Santiago Lope; "Maraguena" by Ernesto Lecuona and selections from "Man of LaMancha" arranged by Frank Erickson.

The concert is free. It will last about an hour. Attendees should bring their own lawn chairs. In case of rain the performance will be at Academic Auditorium.
