The Cape Girardeau County Christian Women's Club luncheon and meeting will be Aug. 12 from noon to 2 p.m. at Holiday Inn. The theme is "A Learning Experience."

A special feature will be a program on "Wallpaper for Less" by Wendy Hayes.

Speaker will be author Pat Baker of Bolivar. Her topic is "Life's Learning Experiences."

Special music will be presented by Janie Cox.

Cost for the meal is $8.

Complimentary day care will be provided for children to age 10. Reservations for lunch and/or day care are required and should be made by Thursday by calling Linda Lummus at 334-4259. Cancellations should also be made by calling the above number.

The Christian Women's Club is an inter-denominational organization of women with no charges or membership fees.
