A 240-acre industrial site in Nash Road Industrial Park is listed for sale in New America Network's National Sealed Bid Event, a list of 48 properties in 20 states.

The property described in the 58-page publication is leased for farming purposes that generate $16,500 a year. However, the lease may be canceled by either party with a 60-day notice.

The site, between Nash Road and the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport, is a half-mile from Interstate 55 and potentially can be subdivided into three 80-acre parcels.

The western 80 acres of the site are included in the Cape Girardeau County Enterprise Zone, which provides tax benefits to businesses by promoting investment and new jobs in the zone.

Properties in the New America Network publication are offered for sale by a number of different sellers. The Cape Girardeau property is offered by Terra Marketing Inc. Properties are offered under a sealed bid format.

Bid documents should be received on or before noon, Sept. 26, to National Sealed Bid Event, c/o Terra Marketing Inc., 2633 E. Indian School Road, Suite 100, Phoenix, AZ., 85016-6760.

Sellers reserve the right to select the best bids, not necessarily the highest bids.

A suggested minimum bid for the Cape Girardeau area property is $1.2 million.
