Vickie Sievers: "I don't think he'll have any effect, because I don't think anybody would change their opinion around here."

Wes Bartels Jr.: "I don't think it will sway people to vote more for Democrats than Republicans just because he is in town. He may draw people just to see him because he's the president."

Wes Bartels Sr.: "I don't feel it will have any effect on local politicians. We as voters will look at what's best for us here."

Roger Petzoldt: "I think it would be 50-50. Some would change the way they would vote and some wouldn't. You never know."
