The Cape Girardeau County Christian Women's Club luncheon and meeting will be Sept. 9 from noon to 2 p.m. at Holiday Inn. The theme is "Mad Hatter."

A special feature will be a program on "Hats Galore" by Jean Seres.

Speaker will be Nancy Dempsey of Raytown. Her topic is "A Heady Message."

Special music will be presented by Dolly Daumbach.

Cost for the meal is $8.

Complimentary day care will be provided for children to age 10 years. Reservations for lunch and/or day care are required and should be made by Thursday by calling Linda Lummus at 334-4259. Cancellations should also be made by calling the above number.

The Christian Women's Club is an inter-denominational organization of women with no charges or membership fees.
