Consent Ordinances

-- Established stop signs on Earleen Street at Kent Street.

New Ordinances

-- Changeed the zoning of a tract of land on Interstate 55 from C-1 to C-2.

-- Changed the zoning of 1918 N. Kingshighway from C-2 and R-1 to C-3.

-- Granted a special use permit extension to Cornerstone Church Inc.

-- Granted a special use permit extension to Boyd Missouri Inc., Downtown Parking Inc. and J.D. Main.

-- Accepted general warranty deeds for the Cape La Croix Creek/Walker Branch flood control project.

-- Placed stop signs on South Louisiana Street and Merriwether Street.

-- Repealed a stop sign on Sena Fawn and enact new stop sign locations on Sena Fawn and Melody Lane.

-- Established speed limits on Lexington Avenue and North Sprigg Street.

-- Established prohibited truck traffic.

-- Established no parking on Lexington Avenue.

-- Established no parking on North Henderson Street.

-- Appropriated funds for the Department of Public Works.

Resolutions

-- Authorized the city manager to execute an interim liability agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration for the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport traffic control tower.

-- Authorized the city manager to execute a transfer agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration for the airport traffic control tower.

-- Authorized the city manager to execute a contract with Robinson Construction Co. for the Cape Rock water treatment plant.

-- Granted approval of a temporary 5 percent beer-by-the-drink license for Southeast Missouri Hospital Foundation for an event to be held Sept. 21 on the St. Vincent's Seminary Grounds.

-- Granted approval of a temporary 5 percent beer-by-the-drink license for St. Vincent de Paul Home & School Association for an event to be held Nov. 7-11 at the A.C. Brase Arena Building.

-- Granted conditional approval of a 3.2 percent non-intoxicating beer-by-the-drink license for SEMO Pizza Inc., d/b/a Imo's Pizza, 1201 Broadway.

-- Granted conditional approval of a retail liquor-by-the-drink license for Leliva Hotel & Management LLC, d/b/a Town House Inn, 505 N. Kingshighway.

Other

-- Extended escrow agreement for Clarkton Place IV Subdivision.

-- Placed an ordinance regarding Ethics Commission on the Sept. 16 council agenda..

-- Accepted into the city's system the sanitary lateral sewers constructed to serve a portion of Northside Estates and releasing the escrow covering these improvements.
